It's A Girl!

Hello, readers!

If you have been following the blog, you know for the past few posts, that I have been writing about Janine and Dom's children. For the last four weeks,  I have written about four of the older Detore sons. There have been posts on Louis, John, Allie and "Baby Dom." :)  You might be wondering, "Is there a daughter in this mix?"

Yes, I am here to tell you that there are, in fact, two daughters!  This week, we meet the first daughter, Jeannie Marie.

I have to include the interesting way Jeannie got her name.  Jeannie was supposed to be named after Janine's mother, Angelina. However, after a visit to a psychic, Janine was told that she would have better relationship with her daughter if she was named Jeannie. Incidentally, even though Janine's mom's name was Angelina, everyone called her Jeannie. So, Jeannie Marie it is.

**EDIT: Per request, I would like to add another name preferred here as well--"The Queen." :)  :)  Believe me, this is said with no bad intent.

Jeannie is currently sixteen years old with an October 26th birthday. She's been very girly from the start. At age five, she was already getting her hair and nails done. :)

As Jeannie has gotten older, her love for looking good hasn't changed. She still enjoys shopping for nice things including clothes, bags and shoes (I need this girl to help me out-I have NO style whatsoever lol).  She also enjoys fine restaurants, dancing, and spending time with her friends and her boyfriend of two years (sorry, guys, she's taken). :)

She's also very responsible and focused on her future. Janine explained that Jeannie wants to be a plastic surgeon some day. Currently, she helps Janine by working in Country Mouse.

Jeannie is very driven and wants to take care of herself and not have to depend on anyone. Janine also said that in that way, Jeannie is a lot like her Aunt Angela. :)

I like to use at least one direct quote from Janine because I think it is sweet how much she loves her kids. She says this about Jeannie: "She is a bright beautiful woman, kind hearted and helpful."

Come back next week to read about the other Detore daughter, Sonnie. Have a great week and thanks for taking the time to read!

  4. The Detore family are indeed wonderful people! Its sad to see some jerks talking trash about them! To Janine:Ignore the "Haters" and don't entertain their ignorance or their negative energy! Any person(s) who sits behind a computer tweeting hate non-stop for weeks, are obviously living in misery wishing they had what you have! Don't give them your power. Keep it moving...God Bless you and your family!!
