My Big Gay Italian Funeral-TAKE 2

On February 9th, 2014, Janine took the stage as "Fanny" in the play My Big Gay Italian Funeral which is playing at the Saint Luke's Theater in New York City!

Janine as Fanny before the show!

The play, written by the very talented Anthony Wilkinson, is a sequel to My Big Gay Italian Wedding and is about a man named Anthony and his family who have come together for their father's funeral. Because of an issue between Anthony and his brother, tensions run high between them and the rest of the family.

I was lucky enough to be there so I won't tell you what the issue is or what the outcome is, but I can tell you without any hesitation that the play is HILARIOUS (but touching, too) and Janine rocked it as Fanny, the owner of a nightclub called "Spectrum". Here are a few photos of Janine on stage:

A lot of people came out to support Janine!  Friends, family and fans were on hand to cheer for her. Here we are after the show:

People called her performance "amazing" and "hysterical". She didn't gave any signs of being nervous and appeared to be a natural on stage! I saw some comments on Facebook how some people were sad that they couldn't go. For those upset about missing her performance, GUESS WHAT????

You can go see Janine repeat her role as Fanny AND see Dominck play the role of Rocco on May 18th, 2014 at 7pm. Tickets are available now at Telecharge.com.
